Marissa, the TV district treasurer, presented the fiscal picture and packet pages for the board and said the district’s finances look stronger than previously projected. She told the board the district has about $540,000 in the bank and roughly $94,000 in liquid investment cash at Raymond James; the previously budgeted shortfall of $379,000 is now down to about $72,000.
Marissa walked through the budget message, revenue and cash-flow pages and noted final ad valorem tax counts: $959,000 estimated for the current year and $1,035,000 projected for 2026, a roughly $75,000 increase. After discussion the board moved, seconded and approved the tentative FY2025–26 budget and later also approved the five-year capital plan. Marissa said detailed contract listings and a five-year capital plan are available in the packet for follow-up.
