Staff reports progress on several historic nominations heading to council

Staff updated commissioners on the status of multiple historic nominations and related zoning actions. Matthew Falcone reported the William and Mary Spencer House is moving to city council for an ordinance to change the zoning map and "should be completed by the end of this month." Two other recommendations (William And Decker And Rathsatterhouse) were finalized at the planning commission and will go to council for first public hearings.
Falcone said the Erie Municipal Building required additional review after planning commission consideration and that staff will circle back to resolve that matter before it continues forward. Commissioners were supportive of staff moving nominations along to council when appropriate and noted the timing of public hearings and council consideration would determine next steps.
