Student Council reports Mini-Prom success and plans pep assembly

Lewis Beckham, Student Council president, delivered the student-council report at the Feb. 24 board meeting. Beckham said last week’s Mini-Prom was successful and well attended and that several council members attended a Leadership Workshop in Dunlap on Feb. 21, which he described as a positive experience.
Beckham told the board that Student Council is preparing to host a pep assembly on Friday, Feb. 28, and asked the board and administration to note the date. The report was delivered during the visitors and correspondence portion of the meeting and did not require board action.
