Prospect Heights reports flat enrollment projections, positive assessment results and curriculum rollouts

District administrators told the board that enrollment projections for 2025-26 are essentially flat, based on Frontline Analytics. Staff also reviewed assessment windows for the year (IAR, ACCESS, DLM, ISA) and said winter i-Ready diagnostics and the SAEBRS social-emotional screener were underway.
Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning Dr. Craig Curtis presented the assessment update and curriculum implementation status, reporting that Eisenhower, Ross, Sullivan and MacArthur received commendable designations in state accountability materials and that Mystery Science/StemScopes (K-8) and a readopted Creative Curriculum for preschool are in active implementation. "The i-Ready Diagnostic will not affect a student's grade in English/Language Arts (ELA) or Math but will place them on a path that provides additional support and enrichment based on students' strengths and challenges," Dr. Curtis said.
