District 210 recognizes Students of the Month and dozens of state/regional student achievements

At an awards session May 12, Lemont Township High School District 210 honored Students of the Month and recognized many students and teams who placed or qualified in state and regional competitions; a local Edward Jones representative pledged a donation on behalf of the honorees.

The Board reconvened in the Performing Arts Center at 7:00 p.m. for awards. William Sagotz, Krista Loula, Madeline Galassi, and Emma Laganwere were recognized as Students of the Month for May 2025. Brad Grcevic of Edward Jones pledged a donation to the Hope & Friendship Foundation on behalf of the honorees.
Administrators and the Board also recognized an extensive list of individual and team accomplishments: regional Special Olympics results, multiple placements and qualifiers at Illinois Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), Junior Achievement awards, Illinois Health Occupations Student Association state finalists, Future Business Leaders of America placings including Matthew Bechtlofft (1st Place, Graphic Design), Daniel Janusz (Gold Medalist, Criminal Justice), and numerous Illinois SkillsUSA qualifiers. Member Marzec represented the Board in congratulating students for their achievements.
