Board approves personnel consent agenda, hires, and administrator contracts

The Board voted to approve Action Consideration #24-60, the Personnel Consent Agenda, which included certified hire Wendy McCleary as a Long-Term Business Substitute (Feb. 26–May 24, 2025) at $330.90 per day; a change of FTE for social worker Kristina Bergles from .84 to 1.0 for 2025–26; and a change of assignment for Tina Bialek to split roles between science teacher (0.5 FTE) and Instructional Coach (0.5 FTE) for the 2025–26 school year.
Other approved items included an overload payment to John Aspel ($4,953.20) and a contingent non-certified hire, Autum Setta, as Administrative Assistant to Athletics & Activities at $30.00 per hour with a start date of April 14, 2025. The Board also recorded retirements effective May 24, 2025 (Debra Grand, paraeducator) and December 31, 2025 (Judy Morton, accounts payable), and accepted an extracurricular resignation (Jessica Mathias, assistant boys’ volleyball coach).
Separately, the Board approved Action Consideration #24-61, the employment contract for Ken Parchem, Chief School Business Official, and #24-62, the employment contract for Wesley Rozanski, Director of Technology. The Board also approved Resolution #24-63 authorizing honorable dismissal at the end of the 2024–25 school year for Wendy McCleary, John Kennedy Jr., and Egan Berta. All personnel motions passed on roll call with unanimous aye votes.
