Board authorizes FY2026 budget preparation and accepts $31,200 in donations

The Board approved Action Consideration #24-56 to authorize preparation of the FY2026 budget, set the fiscal year as July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026, and allow purchases up to 75% of the FY2026 budget, as recommended by the Superintendent. The motion passed on a unanimous roll call vote.
Also on the consent agenda the Board accepted donations from the Lemont High School Blue and Gold Athletic Boosters: $20,000 for a touchscreen display in the Athletic Hallway, $7,900 for varsity and junior varsity dance team choreography, and $3,300 for a timing system for the Boys’ and Girls’ track program. The consent agenda also included approval of bills totaling $484,195.54 and listed payrolls.
