Clinton County drainage board accepts Pleasant Meadow drainage easement

“The drainage easements will be dedicated to the county by giving us control over those to make sure we don't have any neighborhood issues when it comes to repairing the tile,” said a county staff member. The board moved to accept the dedication, a member moved and the chair seconded; the board recorded a vote of "motion carries 2 0."
The staff member noted Mr. Wherry was present for the record and said the easement language had been reviewed by area planning officers and was now being placed in formal dedication form. No public opposition or requests for delay were recorded during the discussion. The board’s action transfers maintenance responsibility to the county and clears the title/process step needed for subsequent construction or upkeep.
