Jonathan Patterson, Maxine Johnson and Orrin Myrick were sworn in as members of the Lindop School District 92 Board of Education during a special meeting on May 8, 2025 at Lindop School gymnasium. Mr. Hannah administered the oath of office to the three newly elected members, who were then seated for the board's reorganization.
Mr. Hannah read the canvass of the April 1 consolidated election before the new-board seating: Jonathan “JP” Patterson received 613 votes (29.82%), Maxine Johnson 629 (30.59%) and Orrin Myrick 431 (21.55%), with several write-in totals also recorded. The seating followed the canvass and was immediately followed by procedural motions to facilitate officer elections.
"I just wanted to come up and make a brief statement, hoping that futuristicly that the board would consider taking care of our teachers with their starting salaries," Jonathan Patterson told the board earlier in the meeting as a public commenter; he was later sworn in as a board member. The board set its next regular meeting for May 20, 2025 at Lindop School.
