The South Harrison Community School Board on July 7 approved a consent agenda that included approval of minutes, the claim docket and numerous personnel actions across the district. The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Karen Lopp, seconded by Steven Simler, and passed unanimously.
Among the personnel actions the board approved was the employment of Brandon Johnson as Director of Harrison County Exceptional Learners Cooperative. The consent agenda also recorded multiple hires and resignations at Corydon Central High School, Corydon Intermediate, Heth-Washington and other schools, including approvals for new teachers, instructional assistants, coaches and volunteer assistants. Several resignations were accepted and permission was granted to post vacated positions.
