D92 board adopts student-discipline, post-retirement and curriculum policies on second reading

The Board of Education unanimously approved multiple policy updates after a second reading at the Feb. 18 meeting. Member Dopke moved to adopt the listed policies and Member Gorecki seconded; the vote was 7–0 in favor.
Policies approved included 5:230 (Maintaining Student Discipline), 5:275 (Post-Retirement Medical Insurance/Continuation of Benefits), 6:60 (Curriculum Content), and 6:270 (Guidance and Counseling Program). The board recorded no discussion prior to the vote. These adoptions update the district’s code of practice for student behavior, retiree benefit continuity and curriculum guidance for upcoming school years.
