The Board of Education of Will County School District 92 unanimously approved its consent agenda at the Feb. 18, 2025 regular meeting. Member Przybyl moved to approve the consent agenda and was seconded by member Ferkaluk; President Matt Dusterhoft declared the motion carried after a roll-call vote of seven ayes and no nays.
Items approved included the Jan. 21, 2025 meeting minutes, the treasurer’s and financial reports, monthly expenditures and a range of personnel transactions. The minutes and personnel lists in the boardbook show resignations and reassignments, including Director of Curriculum Lisa Lyke listed with a resignation effective 6/30/2025, and multiple staffing changes across schools. The board also approved a slate of long-term leaves for staff members (examples in the boardbook include Ophelia Skiadopoulos, Jan Spiller, Jacqueline Larson and others) and authorized the destruction of a closed-session recording from Aug. 15, 2023.
Board President Matt Dusterhoft said the items were included in the boardbook and discussed by administrators prior to the vote. The motion passed unanimously (Ayes: Dopke, Washington, Gorecki, Przybyl, Ferkaluk, Tidwell, Dusterhoft).
