First5 Nevada promotes 'Give Me 5' resource to help parents find early-childhood services

"Firstfivenevada.org," Gavorski said, distributing rack cards and explaining the site offers developmental milestones, advice columns and referrals to services without directing parents to dozens of different sites. He said the project launched in April 2024 and is intended to be an 'evergreen' resource that expands services available to rural and tribal communities.
Gavorski asked the board to keep the resource in mind for outreach and partnership opportunities; he emphasized that the site is free to families and is intended to reduce barriers to early-childhood service navigation.
