Port Ludlow association urges completion of mandatory backflow survey and lists testing options

Diane Steele, introduced as president of Port Lobo Associates, asked residents to return the cross-connection/backflow survey mandated by the UTC and said the association mailed notices to those who had not responded. "The UTC is requiring us to have that survey 100% of the people," Steele said, and warned that noncompliance could lead to enforcement steps the association wants to avoid.
Steele said the annual backflow testing reminder will appear in the association billing and that the association listed three to five local testers residents can contact. She encouraged people to use the web survey link, noting "it's 20 seconds" to complete and promising assistance at the front office for scheduling tests or installations.
