Safety & Public Works Committee Chair Tad Erickson said the property had received administrative citations and the committee recommended the warrant to clear hazardous conditions.
"The motion coming out of committee is to obtain an administrative search warrant to abate junk, debris, and blight at 711 F Street Northeast, and I so move," Erickson said during committee reports. The motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. The council did not record further debate; no opposed votes were reported in the meeting transcript.
