Superintendent Matt Rich outlined planned facility improvements during the April 24 meeting. Imperial Surveillance was on site scouting locations for exterior cameras and installation work is scheduled to begin Monday. The district also plans flooring and wall pad work in the primary gymnasium over the summer and expects contractors to begin after the last student day, June 5.
Rich said the district walked the east side of the building with SASED to identify facility needs, noting a few exterior doors will be replaced, some cabinetry will be repainted, and three classrooms will receive TV/HDMI solutions in place of older projection systems. The minutes record no concerns about scheduling or completion timing.
