Resident urges commission to restore ASL access, push forward tabled resolution

"There were no ASL interpreters when people came online from the county and gave daily updates," the resident said, asking the commission to think about how excluded people felt during the COVID period. The speaker noted the duties under Title II of the law apply to state and local government and argued implementation costs "are really like the cost of doing business." The resident said the resolution "didn't pass out of the finance committee" and was "tabled until next March."
