Board greenlights camera, fob and computer upgrades as IT visits planned

District staff told the board the IT provider will be on-site next week to plan camera placement and that the district expects to add cameras to cover blind spots in both gyms, a hallway and the elementary playground. "They're gonna get everything and get it all planned out," the business manager said, and staff also reported a contractor reviewed door fob capability and the district expects to roll fobs out to additional doors.
Staff also described a small set of aging staff machines ("John and Brock's and Judy's are all kinda dying") and said replacement purchases will be made after new staff indicate whether they prefer laptops. Trustees approved the use of multi-district funds for these one-time purchases and directed staff to finalize quotes and schedules.
