Groton Planning & Zoning continues regulation review, goes into executive session; meeting adjourns

After extended discussion of the 8-24 referral and multiple sections of the draft zoning regulations, the commission voted to go into executive session to discuss ongoing litigation involving zoning matters. The motion to enter executive session was made, seconded and approved by a voice vote. The commission returned to open session and adjourned at approximately 9:36 p.m.
Chair Paul Kuckemuller closed the meeting and thanked commissioners for their work. Several follow-up items were identified — staff will refine draft regulation language and return to the commission for additional review — and the advisory opinion on the 8-24 referral was forwarded to the mayor and city council for their consideration.
