Greenville City Council approved a series of routine development and utility items: encroachment-license agreements for subdivision and utility work (items described as involving water and sewer lines, sidewalks and roads), a 24-inch sewer-line encroachment linked to the City of Josephine, a Merritt Road expansion-related encroachment for drainage and utilities, and a Farmers Electric Cooperative distribution-line replacement within an existing transmission easement. Utility staff said TMPA and the city reviewed the requests and had no objections; council approved each item unanimously.
The council also approved appointments to the Juice Board of Directors, naming Holly Gosher to Place 2 and Demetrius Nixon to Place 3. The city secretary read the consent calendar; council separated and postponed two consent items (items b and c) for later consideration and approved the remainder by motion. Mayor Jerry Ransom thanked staff for their work.
