Council approved change order No. 20 with APGuild in the amount of $43,989 to extend the project's substantial completion date from May 17 to June 15, pay for superintendent time during the extension, and add an AV cabinet and some electrical design work omitted from the original specs. Project staff said the change order keeps the overall project within budget and primarily pays for labor time during the extended period.
Council also approved a services-proposal amendment to extend construction-administration work with the project's architecture and engineering consultants (weekly pool checks and RFI review) to cover the additional construction window. "The majority of this change order is going to be moving the substantial completion date, from 05/17 to 06/15," project staff said. Both items were approved unanimously.
