Town announces Red Cross blood drive at Shepardson Center on Aug. 14

Mahr relayed a Red Cross request for blood donations and told residents that the Middlebury Senior Center will host a Red Cross blood drive in the Shepardson Building on Friday, Aug. 14, 2026 from noon to 5 p.m. She provided the Red Cross scheduling telephone number (1-800-RED-CROSS) and the RedCrossBlood.org website and noted appointment scheduling instructions included in the meeting packet.
The packet included Red Cross messaging about the ongoing national blood shortage and promotional materials associated with the local drive.
