Planning staff said the applicant has already established utilities and a road entrance and recommended the rezoning so the property can be used for residential development.
Planning staff (S5) summarized the request: "He has split off 2 acres to build a home," and told the committee the parcel is not conducive to farming and meets the minimum lot-size requirements being requested. Committee members recorded affirmative votes and staff said the item will appear before the full county board next week for final approval.
