Bourne board approves orders of taking for two roads and betterment estimates for several streets

Town engineering briefed the Select Board on several road-acceptance and betterment items and the board approved motions to proceed with takings and estimated assessments.
Tim Lyden presented the order of taking for Daniel Webster Lane and Spinnaker Lane and asked the board to vote to execute and record the taking and notify abutters; MJ moved to approve and Anne Marie seconded the motion, which passed. Lyden also presented estimated orders of assessment for temporary repairs and betterments on Terrace, Eldridge Street and Eldridge Street extension and the board approved the estimates. "We do have prepared for you the order of taking for the Picasso Woods, roads, Daniel Webster Lane as well as Spinnaker Lane," Lyden said; the board then voted to execute the orders and to record the related documents with deeds and abutter notice.
