"When I pulled up the background check, he had 2 misdemeanor offenses related to drugs and alcohol alcohol in the last 7 years, so I have those here," staff said, describing the information in the file. No formal disciplinary or removal action was taken during the meeting; staff will retain the documentation and follow the department’s volunteer screening procedures.
