Board signs off on multiple modernization completions and facilities contracts
Summary
Trustees approved a series of notices of completion for South Almonte/Arroyo modernization and HVAC projects, authorized facility service contracts (elevator phone monitoring) and cooperative purchasing through Omnia/Cintas, and approved a three-year student-data privacy contract with CITE.
The board approved multiple consent and regular-agenda items related to facilities and contracts during the Dec. 10 meeting.
Notices of completion were approved for a set of modernization and HVAC projects, including South Almonte High School kitchen HVAC modernization and several related modernization bid packages. Trustees also approved an annual agreement with a security signal vendor to provide elevator phone monitoring at Rosemead Adult School, authorized purchases through the Omnia Partners cooperative contract with Cintas for facilities management products, and approved a three-year contract with California IT and Education (CITE) for student-data privacy management services.
Each of the regular-agenda construction and procurement items passed with recorded aye votes where noted, and trustees thanked the facilities and fiscal teams for advancing modernization work while noting continuing capital needs and the district’s partial modernization status.
