Board elects new president and vice president at Loma Prieta organizational meeting

Erin Oshigan, who said she had served as board president for the past three years, opened nominations and thanked colleagues: "It's been my absolute pleasure to have been your president for the last 3 years," she said. After nominations closed, a motion to elect Charlotte as president passed by roll call. A separate motion to elect Aaron as vice president also passed after trustees confirmed nominees would accept the roles.
The board also appointed Doctor Kevin Esquier as secretary to the board and approved district representation to Santa Clara County committees and local foundations. Denise agreed to continue as district representative to the Santa Clara County School Boards Association and to serve on county committees as discussed. The board completed these organizational actions before reconvening into its regular session.
