Chair Charlotte Fife announced the approved transfer on the record: "We have approved the sale, partial 1 Dash 8 to Rula Asadi ... for $5,000." Members agreed to accept several of the smaller 'micro' parcels but asked staff to assemble full packets and additional background on larger properties before making final decisions. Board members explicitly tabled offers for a 12‑acre Smoke Street parcel that attracted duplicate sealed bids at the same amount and several Water Street lots, citing the need for more research and all members' participation before moving forward.
Ellen White, the town administrator, said the town followed a process of notifying abutting owners and accepting sealed offers with a required 10% deposit. The board discussed whether to require cashier's or certified checks within a set period for closing. The administrator agreed to prepare complete packets and suggested the board revisit the contested lots at a future meeting when more members are present.
The board recorded motions and voice votes on the partial approvals and noted that several parcels received no bids. The board also left open its right to reject any and all offers pending further review.
