Superintendent Spicer highlights Black History Month events, launches teacher advisory committee

The superintendent described the committee's work as a way to keep the district closely connected to classroom realities and to ensure teacher voice meaningfully informs decisions.
She also thanked principals and staff for leading programs such as Crestview Elementary's Journey of Roots and JH Hinds Elementary's commemorative events, and noted partnerships that showcase student learning across WISD.
