Commission approves consent items; weekly purchase orders $149,279.59, warrants $888,994.23

The Weber County Board of Commissioners approved consent items F1 through F12, which included a request to approve 12 purchase orders totaling $149,279.59 and warrants numbered 108759–108818 and other sequences totaling $888,994.23.

Mr. Ricky Hatch provided a breakdown of the week's purchases and payments: "We issued 12 POs this week for $149,000," he said, noting that about 43% (roughly $65,000) of that amount was for library AV and North Branch materials, and that warrants included payments such as ramp awards to South Ogden City, library purchases, jail utilities and health department electric vehicle rebate reimbursements. Hatch listed the top payees for the week, including South Ogden City ($173,000) and the Weber County Golden Spike Events Center ($74,000).

A commissioner moved to approve the consent items as presented and the board approved the motion by voice vote. The consent packet also included business- and beer-license approvals, minutes from the July 28 meeting, vehicle surplus requests, right-of-way purchase agreements for 2550 South corridor widening, a master service agreement amendment with Securist Technologies LLC to meet federal communications regulations, and deputy sheriff training reimbursement agreements for listed recruits.
