Commissioner Gage Fuer and county staff recognized Kaylee Rhodes as the Weber County "Stall of Fame" recipient, highlighting her work as the county's internal auditor. Ricky Hatch introduced Rhodes and said she has "been here about 10 months" and has led multiple audits and countywide training efforts.
"Kaylee is our internal auditor and she has been here about 10 months," Ricky Hatch said, praising her approach to audits and her work implementing training and controls. Commissioners described her as approachable and independent; Commissioner Sharon Bolos said Rhodes "operates like you've been here 10 years." The board presented Rhodes with a photo opportunity and applause followed the recognition.
Rhodes responded that she is still learning government processes and credited colleagues for helping audits succeed. "I really couldn't have done any of these audits or any of these reviews without you guys," she said, adding that county staff are willing to explain processes and assist when asked. The commissioners concluded the item and moved on to the consent agenda.
