Superintendent Mike Kapolka thanked the consulting team, saying, "Thank you to Kingscott, Moore Trosper, and Fielding International for their presentation on our district's facility assessment." The board directed staff to further unpack the assessment and scope priority work.
Board members asked for clarifications about the pathfinder work at North Creek, potential timelines and how recommended projects would be prioritized alongside other capital needs. No formal vote was taken during the presentation; the consultants said the materials presented were preliminary and intended to inform next-step planning and budgeting.
The board’s next steps include staff review of the consultants’ report, development of a prioritized scope of work, and follow-up presentations to the board before any capital action or referendum would be considered.
