House opens session, leaders honor storm victims and first responders

Members from across the chamber offered public thanks to regional utilities and volunteer crews for restoring service and noted continuing outages in parts of Nashville and other communities. The House recorded no formal votes on storm-related measures during the opening business, focusing instead on memorial remarks and recognition of recovery efforts.
