The South Harrison board approved fundraisers and field trips covering nearly all schools in the district during its July 1 meeting. Fundraisers approved include a Corydon Central High School football discount-card fundraiser scheduled for July 29, 2025; a Corydon Central Junior High cheer-team car wash on Aug. 23, 2025 (rain date Sept. 6, 2025); and a South Central Junior/Senior High School tennis-team calendar fundraiser on July 14, 2025.
Field trips across multiple schools were also approved under the same agenda item. The motion to approve all items under IX.6 (Fundraisers) was made by Barbara Smith and seconded by Deneen Stewart; the board recorded the motion as passed with six votes in favor and one absent.
