Ribbon-cutting planned; council debates public access and lighting for new tennis courts

"We don't want 6 beautiful tennis courts that are open till 05:00 every day and then nobody can use them when they're off work or out of school," staff (S2) said, and members agreed that operational rules for locking and signage should be developed before the facility opens for general use.
Staff also noted that lighting on the county-owned side is not currently in place and that agreements with the county over maintenance and access will guide final operations.
