Staff recommended flexibility while the village tests the new schedule and suggested adjustments could be made annually as amenities are added.
Council also debated whether to limit rentals to organizations with local ties to avoid out‑of‑market events renting the park solely for price advantages. The committee agreed to review municipal practices elsewhere and return recommendations should the village need to tighten rental rules.
