A committee member told planners the township currently leases basement storage space at the Gogglesville Fire Company but no rent is exchanged and the township no longer needs the space. The committee member said the township had sent correspondence earlier in the year to the fire company about terminating that arrangement and asked the applicant to confirm the site's status so the township can remove it from insurance.
The applicant acknowledged the request and said he would inform the applicant (Jeff) and resend letters if needed. "We no longer need it, and we'd like to take it off of our insurance," the committee member said when explaining the township's interest in ending the informal lease. The commission asked the applicant to follow up with the township and provide any requested documentation.
