The commission approved a staff-supported stormwater waiver to allow the berm width for a proposed drainage pond to be reduced from the standard 8 feet to 5 feet, citing the very small drainage area involved.
Planning staff told the panel the waiver was acceptable given the size of the drainage area; staff said the waiver request was included in the letter the applicant submitted and recommended the condition be recorded on final plans. "It's a very small drainage area, so I I'm supportive of that waiver also," a staff member said. The motion to allow the berm-width reduction was made and seconded, passed by voice vote, and the applicant confirmed the approved waivers will be shown on the recorded plans.
The commission directed the applicant to update the recorded plans to include the granted waivers before final recording; staff will verify compliance during follow-up review.
