Planning panel approves Gogglesville Fire Company pavilion and parking waivers, with conditions

The Cumru Township Planning Commission on voice votes approved land-development waivers that clear the way for a new pavilion and expanded parking at the Gogglesville Fire Company, subject to several conditions from planning staff.

The applicant—s representative described the plan as a building with a basin and said the existing pavilion sits inside the required setback; the representative also presented a waiver letter signed by the applicant, Jeff Gerhardt, and paid required fees that night. Planning staff said the proposed improvements appeared accessory and permitted, but asked for "a brief written description of the proposal" to be added to the application for the record.
