The speaker described constructing a retaining wall down the bank, placing stone in drainage pathways, and cleaning wetlands to prevent additional dirt entering resource areas.
"We put a retaining wall all the way down the bank because there was no way to stop the hill from caving in...No more dirt is going into the wetlands," the speaker reported. Staff said the remaining outstanding item is septic work; once septic inspections are complete the speaker planned power raking and seeding.
Separately, staff said a restoration plan was filed for 0 Main Street (received Feb. 9, 2026) and that planting is likely in the fall; the commission said it will follow up monthly. For 826 William Street the commission described a newly observed violation involving equipment and material on site and sought to have members ratify enforcement steps and coordinate with the building department.
