The curriculum review was introduced in the meeting by Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services Mr. Liu, who reported on the SEAB biennial report and discussed recommendations with FBI Special Agent Chris Rodoligo, who joined the conversation. The board record notes explicitly that there were "No public comments regarding the proposed Sex Education curriculum materials." The motion for the first read passed unanimously, advancing the curriculum to the next procedural step without a recorded public hearing at this meeting.
