Reid also highlighted an award: the district’s finance department received the ASBO International award for financial reporting for the 2025 fiscal year, an honor Reid described as recognition of transparency and high‑quality financial reporting. “And then a special thanks to Tina and Julie for all that work with the amendments and, the budget,” Reid said. The superintendent noted the state school‑aid budget remained pending at the state level and staff are watching timelines for that action.
