Public works outlines chip-seal, water-meter and well projects for the year

Public works staff said they have purchased two commercial mowers and are preparing to install the first batch of digital meters: "Within the next week to two weeks we should have the first of our hundred water meters in house... As soon as we get 10 of them in the ground we can get the software up and going to start the process of installing those." Staff also said the water system plan has been submitted to the Department of Health and Thurston County for review.
