Pateros selects Varela Engineering and Erlandsen & Associates for water/sewer projects

The Pateros City Council voted unanimously April 21 to adopt Resolution 2025-05, selecting Varela Engineering & Management for engineering services and Erlandsen & Associates for surveying for water/sewer projects.
Councilmember Mike Harding told the council the Water/Sewer Committee had reviewed RFQs and recommended Varela & Associates for engineering and Erlandsen & Associates for surveying. Holly Bange moved adoption of the resolution; Mike Harding seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
City Administrator Jord Wilson noted a water/sewer committee meeting is scheduled next month to review the water system plan, which is the next procedural step for project planning and any contract authorizations.
