Fulton 49 South signalization project expected to begin; detours in place

Public Works Director Lance Bates said the Fulton 49 South intersection signalization project should be starting soon and staff observed detour signs being placed. "The signalization project should be starting," Bates told commissioners, and crews were already directing traffic around the work area.
Bates also reported crews have installed no-parking signs on Snake River Road and are monitoring detours and traffic control as the signal project ramps up. Staff said they will continue to watch signage and detour effectiveness as the project moves into active construction.
