Belvedere budgets $50,000 for climate action plan implementation, committee questions scale

Several committee members questioned the scale of the line item given previous low‑cost efforts and suggested a working-group approach to keep costs down. Staff said evolving state measurement rules (hourly vs. annual emissions) and ongoing HCD oversight increase implementation complexity, and staff will aim to be deliberate and cost‑effective in program selection.
