The board approved American History: Connections with the Past as the new Advanced Placement U.S. History textbook during its Nov. 13 meeting. The motion was made by Steve Duane and supported by Matt Bennett; the vote was 5-0.
The approval was recorded as a second reading; the Curriculum and Staff committee had not met since the last full board meeting, and the textbook adoption is expected to be implemented in the upcoming school year.
