Mason board approves audit, summer tax resolution and $183,571.48 furniture purchase

The Mason Board of Education approved the district’s audited financial statements for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025, at its Nov. 13 meeting. Christopher Mumby moved and Steve Duane supported the motion; the board voted unanimously, 5-0, to accept the audit as presented.
In the same finance block the board approved the 2026 Summer Tax Resolution and a cooperative bid from NBS Commercial Interiors for High School furniture, fixtures and equipment totaling $183,571.48. The consent agenda—approved earlier—included payment of General Fund bills in the amount of $2,185,022.83, Food Service Fund $132,691.04, Student Activities $74,449.66 and Sinking Fund $222,190.45.
