Assistant Superintendent for Finance James Lampman presented recommended maximum nonresident tuition rates for the 2025-26 school year and the Board approved the recommendation.
Lampman's memo explained the statutory methodology for calculating nonresident tuition and presented allowable ranges. He recommended adopting the maximums allowed under state calculation: $15,939 for grades K–6 and $16,497 for grades 7–12. The board approved the recommendation by a 6-0 vote.
Lampman told trustees these nonresident rates are rarely used but must be set annually; the administration noted they apply to limited circumstances such as students not eligible for school-of-choice or other residency exceptions.
