Board approves 2025 district negotiation teams, naming cabinet and unit representatives

The resolution identifies Cabinet members as Superintendent Ben Mainka; Assistant Superintendent of Talent Management and Development Dr. Laura Carino; and Assistant Superintendent of Business and Operations Rebecca Scicluna. For the Teamsters Maintenance Bargaining Unit the resolution names Director of Maintenance Mike Dragoo, Assistant Director of Maintenance Eric Hettel, Director of Transportation Cindy Valentine and Director of Employee Relations Jeff Dinkelmann. For the Novi Transportation Association the resolution names Cindy Valentine, Jeff Dinkelmann and Director of Special Education Amanda Squires.
The motion to approve the resolution was moved by Mrs. Beaudoin, supported by Mrs. Roney, and passed 7–0. The resolution notes that, if a member of the team's staff leaves mid‑year, an appointed replacement in the same role will assume bargaining duties to ensure continuity.
